PatternSmith by Jay started the way most good things do — with a problem that needed solving. As a CTE educator, Jay saw firsthand what 3D printing was truly capable of — and recognized that most classrooms weren't using that potential to its fullest. The tools students needed existed in concept, but nobody had made them yet.
So Jay did what any good CTE educator would do — solved it. Drawing on hands-on experience with 3D printing technology and a deep understanding of what classrooms actually need, Jay began designing texture rollers built to last and built to inspire.
